Inspiring IAG
Inspiring IAG is a national provider licensed to deliver The Quality in Careers Standard Award.
Inspiring IAG was developed by the 10 authorities and careers service providers of Greater Manchester but operates at a national level. It is managed on behalf of the IIAG Management Group by Positive Steps. We are grateful of the support that Greater Manchester Combined Authority has given to the award to enable it to grow over the years.
The award not only enables organisations to be recognised for good quality careers education, information, advice and guidance, but to also assists in meeting legislation, Statutory Guidance , Gatsby Benchmarks, preparing for inspection, and providing a better service to young people. Gatsby Benchmarks are fully incorporated into the quality award.
We have an award for schools; academies; sixth forms; colleges; specialist schools; Primary Schools and Training Providers.

STAGE 3 - The Quality in Careers Standard
“The passion and enthusiasm for quality assured CEIAG demonstrated not only by Kelly Baxendale (the strong ‘strategic lead’ for the Awarding Body) and Vilma O’Shea (Chair of the Management Group) but also by the two schools providing testimony at the Panel. Both schools talked warmly about how the Awarding Body’s approach positively affects attitudes and behaviours of school and college leaders towards CEIAG and their commitment to working towards and achieving external accreditation”
